Descriptions

Majid Souri est un général de brigade en second du Corps des gardiens de la révolution islamique (IRGC). Il a été commandant adjoint de l’IRGC dans la province de Lorestan. Depuis décembre 2022, il est chef de l’organisation de tourisme Rahian-e Noor, affiliée à l’IRGC et aux Bassidjis. Il est responsable de la répression violente de manifestations perpétrée par les forces de sécurité en 2022, en particulier dans la ville de Khorramabad, où des personnes se sont rassemblées pour pleurer la mort de Nika Shakrami, une adolescente iranienne qui avait disparu peu après la mort de Mahsa Amini. Il est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme en Iran.
