Petropars Resources Engineering Ltd (PRE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petropars Iran, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petropars Ltd (PPL). PPL is wholly owned by Naftiran Intertrade Company Ltd (NICO), which belongs to the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), which is a State-owned company providing support to the Government of Iran. PRE is responsible for management and engineering services and providing human resources for oil and gas projects and associated needs in the areas of electricity, mechanics and instruments. Therefore, PRE is owned and controlled by an entity providing support to the Government of Iran.
