In May 2022, USA imposed sanctions on TK Northern Project LLC for the transportation of weapons to russia by the company's vessels, and sanctions were also imposed on 15 of the company's vessels, including "NP Dikson". Since September 12, 2025, the United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on the vessel. In November 2025, Canada imposed sanctions on the vessel.
