Elle fait partie des 227 membres du parlement qui ont signé une déclaration, le 6 novembre 2022, faisant l’éloge des forces de sécurité pour avoir exécuté des manifestants et exhortant le système judiciaire à accélérer les procès et à condamner des manifestants à mort en les déclarant coupables de “Moharebeh” ou “guerre contre Dieu”. En tant que membre du parlement iranien, Elahian a soutenu l’exécution, la détention et la torture de personnes lors des manifestations organisées à travers le pays en 2022. Elle est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme en Iran.
