Aleksandr Shershnev is a colonel of the 64th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade of the 35th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation, which killed, raped and tortured civilians in Bucha, Ukraine. These atrocities constitute crimes against humanity and war crimes. He was leading the actions of his military unit. Therefore, he is responsible for, supporting or implementing actions or policies which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, or stability or security in Ukraine.
