In 1996, he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. From 1997 to 2005, he worked as an advisor to the president of Edica S.A., a supported employment enterprise, and from 1999 to 2002, as an advisor to the president of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People. Between 2007 and 2008, he worked for the “Środowisko dla Niepełnosprawnych EKO SALUS”, an association for people with disabilities; he also was an advisor to the president of the Poznań-Ławica Airport. In 2002-2005, he was a Councillor of the Poznań City Council. In the 10th term Senate, he was the Chair of the Family, Senior and Social Policy Committee. Member of the Polish People’s Party.
