Ameneh Sadat Zabihpour est la responsable du groupe de médias en persan à l’étranger de l’IRIB, qui est connue pour être un porte-voix du régime. L’IRIB restreint la libre circulation de l’information à destination des Iraniens et les en prive. En outre, l’IRIB participe activement à l’organisation et à la diffusion d’“aveux” forcés de détracteurs du régime, obtenus par l’intimidation et des actes graves de violence. Ces “aveux” sont souvent diffusés à la suite de manifestations publiques, ou avant les exécutions, et servent à atténuer la réaction du public. Alors que plusieurs responsables très en vue du secteur public de la radiodiffusion ont récemment démissionné et désavoué la réaction violente du régime iranien aux manifestations de 2022, Zabihpour continue d’agir dans la position qu’elle occupe. Elle a interrogé des détracteurs du régime et produit des vidéos d’aveux forcés. Elle est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme en Iran.
