Mousa Ghazanfarabadi est député au parlement iranien et président de la commission juridique et judiciaire du parlement. À ce titre, il est chargé de l’examen judiciaire et juridique des propositions de plans ministériels au parlement, de l’examen et de l’approbation des plans relatifs au droit pénal, ainsi que de l’examen des performances des responsables et des dirigeants d’un point de vue judiciaire et juridique. Il n’a pas condamné les graves violations des droits de l’homme commises par les responsables iraniens lors des manifestations de 2022/2023. À l’inverse, il a déclaré personnellement qu’il convient de priver les femmes violant les règles relatives au port du voile de leurs droits sociaux et a plaidé pour le recours à la force dans l’appréhension de celles-ci. Il tente également de blanchir les crimes perpétrés par les forces iraniennes en défendant la version des faits du gouvernement en ce qui concerne la mort de Mahsa Amini. Il est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme en Iran.
