Le général de brigade Ahmad Zulqadr est le commandant du corps provincial “Seyyed al-Shohada” relevant du Corps des gardiens de la révolution islamique (IRGC), dans la province de Téhéran, depuis novembre 2020. Il est également commandant adjoint du corps de l’IRGC dans la ville de Téhéran.Selon des informations parues dans les médias, Zulqadr a été choisi pour occuper ce poste en raison, notamment, de son expertise en matière de répression des manifestations. En 2022, la répression contre des manifestants à Téhéran a été particulièrement violente. En tant que commandant d’unités de l’IRGC ayant participé à ces violences exercées contre des manifestants, il est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme en Iran.
