Hesco Engineering & Construction is an engineering and construction company founded in Damascus in 1990 by the Haswani family. The company has implemented many important projects in Syria, as well as other countries in the Middle East and North Africa, including Jordan, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Sudan and Algeria. The projects implemented by the company include the installation of a 160-km pipeline in Jordan, EPC gas stations in the Palmyra area for the Syrian Petroleum Company, and components of the Arab Gas Pipeline (AGP) in Syria. The company has offices in Britain and Syria. Hesco Engineering & Construction is under US sanctions due to its affiliation with George Haswani.
