Malaysia Members of Parliament

The Parliament of Malaysia exercises the country's federal legislative power through two houses: the elected Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) and the Dewan Negara (Senate), whose members are either appointed by the King or chosen by the state legislative assemblies. This dataset covers the current membership of both.

Each member is recorded as a politically exposed person, along with their party and, depending on the house, the constituency they represent or their term of office. Presiding officers such as the Speaker and the Senate President are captured as distinct positions, as are the cabinet portfolios of members who also hold executive office.
