Judge of the Sovetsky District Court of Minsk

In his position as judge of the Sovetsky District Court of Minsk, Aliaksandr Vouk is responsible for numerous politically motivated rulings against peaceful protesters, in particular the sentencing of sisters Anastasia and Victoria Mirontsev, considered as political prisoners by Viasna, a Belarussian human rights organisation. Violations of rights of defence and right to a fair trial were reported during trials conducted under his supervision. He is therefore responsible for serious human rights violations and for seriously undermining the rule of law, as well as for the repression of civil society and democratic opposition.

En sa qualité de juge au tribunal du district Sovetsky à Minsk, Aliaksandr Voùk est responsable d’un grand nombre de décisions prononcées contre des manifestants pacifiques pour des motifs politiques, notamment de la condamnation des sœurs Anastassia et Viktoria Mirontseva, qui sont considérées comme des prisonnières politiques par Viasna, une organisation biélorusse de défense des droits de l’homme. Des violations des droits de la défense et du droit à accéder à un tribunal impartial ont été signalées lors de procès menés sous sa supervision. Il est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme et de graves atteintes à l’état de droit, ainsi que de la répression de la société civile et de l’opposition démocratique.

Obywatel Białorusi Aliaksandr Vouk jest sędzią Sowieckiego Sądu Rejonowego w Mińsku, zaangażowanym w masowe łamanie praw człowieka na Białorusi. Z informacji posiadanych przez Agencję Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego wynika, że wjazd i pobyt obywatela Białorusi stanowią zagrożenie dla bezpieczeństwa państwa. Dotychczasowa aktywność wymienionej osoby sytuuje ją jako zwolennika reżimu Aleksandra Łukaszenki. Taka postawa w obliczu rosyjskich działań wojennych na Ukrainie, wsparcia logistycznego i politycznego udzielonego Moskwie przez władze białoruskie, a także toczonej wobec Rzeczypospolitej wojny hybrydowej stwarza poważne ryzyko prowokacji lub wywołania incydentów skutkujących uszczerbkiem dla pozycji międzynarodowej RP.
