| Description | The yacht is believed to be affiliated with president of the russian federation Vladimir Putin. The vessel, estimated to be worth approximately USD 100 million, is equipped with both saltwater and freshwater pools, a helipad, gym, secure government communications systems, luxury furnishings, marble, and gold detailing. Vladimir Putin has reportedly made numerous trips aboard the yacht, including a 2021 voyage in the Black Sea with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who supported and facilitated the russian federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. A few weeks prior to russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, the yacht was relocated from the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg (Germany), where it had been undergoing modernization, to Kaliningrad (russia). In June 2022, the United States designated GRACEFUL as blocked property under sanctions. Following the imposition of sanctions, the vessel was reportedly renamed Kosatka ("Killer Whale"). | [sources] | |||
