China Head Aerospace Technology Company

China Head Aerospace Technology is a PRC-based firm specialised in the production of satellite imagery. The firm is an official supplier of remote sensing data to Russian firm Rakurs, which is a supplier of the Russian Ministry of Defence. This business cooperation, which came into effect a few weeks after the beginning of the war in Ukraine, included the photogrammetric software program PHOTOMOD which is the main topographic sensing system used by the Military Topographic Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Within the context of that program, China Head Aerospace Technology provided topographic data sets and further satellite services, which Rakurs made available to PHOTOMOD customers, including to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. By materially supporting the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation through the provision of topographic data and satellite services, China Head Aerospace Technology therefore supports actions which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty or stability of Ukraine, and supports the Government of the Russian Federation, which is responsible for the annexation of Crimea and the destabilisation of Ukraine.
