Syrian Air Force Intelligence is a Syrian Government agency.

The Syrian Air Force Intelligence Directorate is a Syrian security agency that might be Syria’s most powerful intelligence service. It was affiliated to the National Security Bureau of the Arab Socialist Baath Party as the former Syrian President Hafez al-Assad had played a significant role as Commander of the Syrian Arab Air Force. The Air Force Intelligence was created upon Hafez al-Assad’s assumption of power. This agency is the most loyal to the regime and is marked by the most competent personnel and advanced technologies. While the Air Force Intelligence is subordinate to the Ministry of Defence financially, administratively, and armament-wise, the Minister of Defence has no power over it. On the contrary, this Directorate and the Military Intelligence Directorate are consulted about the Minister of Defence’s appointment, overseeing his work. The Air Force Intelligence is primarily entrusted with defending the Syrian Air Force, protecting the presidential aircraft, and ensuring the President’s safety while travelling abroad. It is put on the US sanctions list and EU sanctions list. It was also added to the UK sanctions list on 24 August 2011. According to the COAR research centre, Air Force Intelligence is involved in trafficking drugs and exporting Captagon pills.
وكالة استخبارتية سورية وربما تكون إدارة المخابرات الجوية هي فرع المخابرات الأكثر قوة ومرتبطة بمكتب الأمن القومي السوري بحزب البعث العربي الإشتراكي نظرا لأهمية دور الرئيس السوري حافظ الأسد كقائد للقوات الجوية العربية السورية فيما مضى. تم إحداثها مع بداية تولي الأسد الأب للحكم، وهي أكثر الأجهزة ولاءً للنظام. ويتسم هذا الجهاز بالكفاءات البشرية والتقنية الأقوى. تتبع لوزارة الدفاع إدارياً ومالياً وتسليحاً، ولكن ليس لوزير الدفاع أي سلطة عليها بل بالعكس من ذلك فإنها مع إدارة المخابرات العسكرية تُشرف على عمل وزير الدفاع ولها رأي في تعيينه. تعد المهمة الأساسية للمخابرات الجوية هي حماية سلاح الجو السوري، إضافة إلى طائرة الرئيس وأمنه خلال تواجده خارج سورية. مدرجة في قوائم العقوبات الأمريكية. مدرجة في قوائم العقوبات الأوروبية شملتها العقوبات البريطانية في 24/08/2011. بحسب مركز كوار البحثي فهي ضالعة في تجارة المخدرات وتصدير حبوب الكبتاغون
