Remains active in supporting separatist actions and policies. Former so-called “Secretary” of the so-called “Central Electoral Commission” of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” and current so-called Head of the so-called “Central Electoral Commission” of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”. In that capacity, he actively participated in the organisation of the so-called “elections” of 11 November 2018 and 8-10 September 2023 in the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”, and thereby actively supported and implemented policies that undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, and further destabilise Ukraine. He actively participated in organising the illegal referendum in September 2022 in the occupied regions of Ukraine to become part of the Russian Federation, with voting sites also established by his commission in the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”.

En cette qualité, il a activement participé à l’organisation des prétendues "élections" du 11 novembre 2018 et du 8 au 10 septembre 2023 dans la soi-disant "République populaire de Donetsk" et a, de ce fait, activement soutenu et mis en œuvre des actions et des politiques qui compromettent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine, et déstabilisent davantage l’Ukraine. Il a participé activement à l’organisation du référendum illégal qui s’est tenu en septembre 2022 dans les régions occupées d’Ukraine visant à ce qu’elles fassent partie de la Fédération de Russie, sa commission ayant également établi des bureaux de vote dans la soi-disant "République populaire de Donetsk". Continue à soutenir activement les actions et les politiques séparatistes.
