President of the Republican Moral Council since December 2023. Venezuelan Attorney General appointed by the Constituent Assembly. In those roles, and in previous roles as Ombudsman and President of the Republican Moral Council, he has undermined democracy and the rule of law in Venezuela by publicly supporting actions against opponents of the government of Venezuela and the withdrawal of competences from the National Assembly.
