Targets people and entities involved in the repression of civil society or serious human rights violations in Venezuela, or in undermining democracy and the rule of law there. Designated persons are subject to an asset freeze, and designated individuals are barred from entering or transiting the United Kingdom. The regime also imposes a country-wide embargo on military goods and prohibits supplying internal-repression and interception and monitoring equipment to Venezuela.
