Description	During the G7 and EU oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products to third countries. In August and September 2025, the tanker was involved in the export of two shipments of russian petroleum products (almost 60,000 tons) from the ports of Tuapse and Taman to Turkey. The shippers were Rosneft and Slavyansk Eco. In November 2025, Besiktas, which operates, among other vessels, IMO 9253777, announced that, in view of the deterioration of shipping security in the Black Sea, the company had suspended all shipping operations related to russian interests and would not make any further shipments to or from russia.
