In terms of volume of trade, it is the biggest commercial seaport in Crimea. Re-registered on 6 June 2014 as State Unitary Enterprise of the City of Sevastopol, ‘Sevastopol seaport’ (ГОСУДАРСТВЕННОЕ УНИТАРНОЕ ПРЕДПРИЯТИЕ ГОРОДА СЕВАСТОПОЛЯ ‘СЕВАСТОПОЛЬСКИЙ МОРСКОЙ ПОРТ’). The ownership of the entity was transferred contrary to Ukrainian law. On 17 March 2014 the “Parliament of Crimea” adopted Resolution No 1757-6/14 “On nationalization of some companies belonging to the Ukrainian ministries of infrastructure or agriculture” declaring the appropriation of assets belonging to the state enterprise “Sevastopol commercial seaport” on behalf of the “Republic of Crimea”. The enterprise is thus effectively confiscated by the Crimean “authorities”. In 2023, it was announced that the ownership of the State Unitary Enterprise of the City of Sevastopol “Sevastopol seaport” would be transferred to the Russian Federation. In terms of volume of trade, it is the biggest commercial seaport in Crimea. Re-registered on 6 June 2014 as State Unitary Enterprise of the City of Sevastopol “Sevastopol seaport” (Государственное унитарное предприятие города Севастополя “Севастопольский морской порт”). La propriété de l’entité a été transférée en violation du droit ukrainien. Le 17 mars 2014, le “Parlement de Crimée” a adopté la résolution no 1757-6/14 “sur la nationalisation de certaines entreprises appartenant aux ministères ukrainiens de l’infrastructure ou de l’agriculture” déclarant l’appropriation des avoirs de l’entreprise publique “Port maritime commercial de Sébastopol” au nom de la “République de Crimée”. Cette entreprise a donc de fait été confisquée par les “autorités” de Crimée. En 2023, il a été annoncé que la propriété de l’entreprise unitaire d’État de la ville de Sébastopol “Port maritime de Sébastopol” serait transférée à la Fédération de Russie. En termes de volume d’échanges, il s’agit du plus grand port maritime commercial de Crimée. Réenregistrée le 6 juin 2014 en tant qu’Entreprise unitaire d’État de la Ville de Sébastopol “Port maritime de Sébastopol” (Государственное унитарное предприятие города Севастополя “Севастопольский морской порт”).
