The company specialises in container shipping, port operations, and intermodal transport across sea, rail and road. Its core operations are concentrated in the Russian Far East, with key assets including the Commercial Port of Vladivostok and a fleet of 30 vessels. The company plays a vital role in connecting Russia with Asia and the Middle East, offering services for general, chemical and petroleum cargo. FESCO is a State-controlled company. Its shares were controlled by the Russian Government and were then transferred to a State corporation specialising in nuclear energy. That integration has secured FESCO long-term contracts, such as its status as sole logistics operator for a nuclear power plant in Turkey. FESCO supports State projects, moving heavy components for nuclear power plants – infrastructure that underpins Russia’s broader industrial base.
