Il a ensuite dirigé un grand nombre d'exécutions opportunistes de civils dans le Kivu, lesquelles constituent des atteintes aux droits humains. Depuis octobre 2022, il est commandant adjoint chargé des opérations et du renseignement au sein du M23, lequel a commis des atrocités contre des civils, notamment à Kishishe le 29 novembre 2022.
