Vladimir Olegovich KURYANOV

Function: Acting Rector of the V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University

Since 22 June 2023, Vladimir Kuryanov has been the acting Rector of the V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University. He is supporting policies which contribute to the militarised education of Ukrainian children and young people and which undermine Ukrainian history and language. He has committed the University to supporting Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, including by allowing military training in the University of students who are to be sent to the frontline. In taking on and acting in this capacity, Vladimir Kuryanov is supporting and implementing actions or policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Depuis le 22 juin 2023, Vladimir Kuryanov est le recteur faisant fonction de l’université fédérale de Crimée V.I. Vernadsky. Il soutient des politiques qui contribuent à l’éducation militarisée des enfants ukrainiens et des jeunes Ukrainiens, et qui mettent en cause l’histoire et la langue ukrainiennes. Il a engagé l’université dans un soutien à la guerre d’agression menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine, notamment en permettant une formation militaire à l’université pour des étudiants qui sont envoyés sur le front. En assumant cette fonction et en agissant en cette qualité, Vladimir Kuryanov soutient et met en œuvre des actions ou des politiques qui compromettent et menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine.
