Gang "5 Segond"

Haitian gang based in the “Village de Dieu” neighbourhood in Port-au-Prince. "The 5 Segond gang is a powerful gang in Haiti, based in the Village de Dieu neighbourhood in Port-au-Prince. Its leader is Johnson André, a.k.a “Izo”. The 5 Segond gang was officially part of the G-Pèp gang alliance. In 2024, G-Pèp and its former rivals, G9 Family and Allies, formed a new coalition, Viv Ansanm, a.k.a. Living Together. Together, they increased attacks against state institutions and contributed to instability. The 5 Segond gang also commits theft, rape, kidnapping, murder, piracy, and extortion, obstructs humanitarian aid and engages in arms and drugs trafficking. Therefore, the 5 Segond gang is responsible for actions that threaten the peace, stability and security of Haiti."

“5 Segond” est un puissant gang en Haïti, basé dans le quartier de Village-de-Dieu à Port-au-Prince. Son chef est Johnson André, alias “Izo”. Le gang “5 Segond” faisait officiellement partie de l’alliance de gangs “G-Pèp”. En 2024, “G-Pèp” et ses anciens rivaux, la “Famille G9 et alliés”, ont formé une nouvelle coalition, “Viv Ansanm” (également connue sous la dénomination “Vivre ensemble”). Ensemble, ils ont intensifié les attaques contre les institutions de l’État et ont contribué à l’instabilité. Le gang “5 Segond” se livre en outre à des actes de vol, de viol, d’enlèvement, de meurtre, de piratage,d’extorsion, d’obstruction de l’aide humanitaire et de trafic d’armes et de drogue. Par conséquent, le gang “5 Segond” est responsable des actions qui menacent la paix, la stabilité et la sécurité en Haïti.
