Description | Tanker ship. Violating measures imposed under paragraph 6 of resolution 2371 (2017) on vessels transporting prohibited items from the DPRK. In May 2021, a UN Member State impounded the vessel "Kingsway" (IMO: 9191773) while it disguised itself as the "Shun Fa" (aka Apex) with IMO "8528864". According to the UN Panel of Experts September 2021 report (p. 16-17), photographic comparison shows that the hulls of the "Apex" and its former alias "Zhe Sheng 26" are different, indicating identity fraud. The Panel suspects the "Kingsway" to have taken over the identity of the "Apex" sometime after the ownership transferred from Taizhou Zhesheng Shipping to Better Smart in July 2018, when the vessel was renamed to Uni Wealth. · na | [sources] | |||

Pursuant to paragraph 6 of Security Council Resolution 2371 (2017) and paragraph 6 of Security Council Resolution 2375 (2017)
According to Equasis, this vessel was broken up in February 2022. The Panel of Experts March 2019 report mistakenly assigns the IMO 8711021 to the "Billions No. 18" (p. 90), which belong to a vessel known as the "Chil Bo San". In Annex 6 (p. 90) of the UN Panel of Experts March 2019 report, the Panel erroneously assigns the IMO 8711021, ownership by Hsih-Shien Chen and former name "Sun Crown" to the "Billions No. 18".
