[EU-PRK] EU Restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) JSON

Implements the United Nations sanctions on North Korea adopted under the Security Council Resolution 1718 (2006) line and supplements them with EU-autonomous listings and trade restrictions. Persons and entities designated under Council Decision (CFSP) 2016/849 and Regulation (EU) 2017/1509 for involvement in the DPRK's nuclear, ballistic-missile and other weapons-of-mass-destruction programmes are subject to an asset freeze and, for individuals, a ban on entry into or transit through the EU. The designation-level measures sit within near-comprehensive country-wide restrictions, including a full arms embargo, export controls on dual-use items and luxury goods, import bans on coal, minerals, textiles, seafood and other commodities, bans on supplying crude oil, refined petroleum and aviation fuel, restrictions on financial transfers and banking relationships, a prohibition on new investment and on providing computer and certain other services, a suspension of aid commitments, and port, shipping and aviation restrictions.
