| Description | The vessel is involved in the transportation of LNG modules for the second production line of the large-capacity Arctic LNG-2 project of the sanctioned company Novatek, which is engaged in natural gas production and liquefied natural gas production on the Gydansky Peninsula. In May 2024, as part of the application of restrictions to entities involved in expanding russia's future electricity production and export capabilities in strategic industries, USA provided maritime logistics and construction support for russian energy projects, are involved in the transportation of highly specialised liquefied natural gas modules and equipment based on gravity structures (GBS), sanctions were imposed on two vessels of the sanctioned shipping company CFU Shipping Co Limited (Hong Kong), including the vessel ІМО 9934498. Since May 21, 2025, the EU has imposed sanctions on the vessel for promoting or supporting actions/policies aimed at the exploitation, development or expansion of the energy sector in russia, including energy infrastructure. On June 03, 2025, the sanctions imposed by Switzerland on the vessel came into force. In November 2025, Canada imposed sanctions on the vessel. | [sources] | |||
