Les membres de son corps enseignant ont mené des travaux de recherche en rapport avec les missiles et l’énergie nucléaire. Ils ont également pris part à l’acquisition illicite de biens inscrits sur la liste du RCTM, en violation des résolutions du Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies. L’université Malek Ashtar est donc directement associée aux activités nucléaires de l’Iran posant un risque de prolifération.

This includes research groups previously falling under the Physics Research Center (PHRC). IAEA inspectors have not been allowed to interview staff or see documents under the control of this organization to resolve the outstanding issue of the possible military dimension to Iran’s nuclear program. The Director Disqualification Sanction was imposed on 09/04/2025.
