Function: Head of the Gomel border group

Swiss SECO Sanctions/Embargoes,

Vladislav Bruev is the Head of the Belarussian Gomel border group. In this capacity, he is responsible for supervising the security of the border in the Gomel oblast, including the border between Belarus and Ukraine, and the passage of individuals and goods through this border. Russian troops crossed the border between Belarus and Ukraine in the Gomel oblast as part of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine on 24 February 2022. He is therefore responsible for and actively supporting actions undermining the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, as well as stability and security in Ukraine.

Vladislav Bruev est le chef du groupe frontalier biélorusse de Gomel. À ce titre, il a la responsabilité de superviser la sécurité de la frontière dans l'oblast de Gomel, y compris la frontière entre la Biélorussie et l'Ukraine, ainsi que le passage de personnes et de marchandises par cette frontière. Des troupes russes ont franchi la frontière entre la Biélorussie et l'Ukraine dans l'oblast de Gomel dans le cadre de la guerre d'agression menée par la Russie contre l'Ukraine depuis le 24 février 2022. Il est donc responsable d'actions compromettant l'intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l'indépendance de l'Ukraine, ainsi que la stabilité et la sécurité en Ukraine, et soutient activement ces actions.
