OJSC Planar est une entreprise d’État spécialisée dans le développement et la fourniture de composants dans le domaine de la micro-électronique, qui sont utilisés pour la production de matériel militaire, par exemple des drones. Elle fait partie d’un groupement d’entreprises administrées par l’État qui est supervisé par le Conseil des projets stratégiques, qui relève directement du président de la Biélorussie. OJSC Planar contribue aussi à la coopération technologique et militaire entre la Biélorussie et la Russie. OJSC Planar fait donc partie du complexe militaro-industriel biélorusse.
