Galina Pumpyanskaya is the spouse of Dmitry Pumpyansky, a leading Russian businessperson and President of the Sverdlovsk regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (SOSPP). Galina Pumpyanskaya is therefore an immediate family member benefitting from her husband Dmitry Pumpyansky. Her husband is the co-Chairman of the RSPP Committee on Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation, now Committee on Technical Regulation. He is also former Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Pipe Metallurgical Company, and former President and board member of Group Sinara. Both companies support and benefit from cooperation with authorities of the Russian Federation and State-owned enterprises, including Russian railways, Gazprom and Rosneft.

Galina Pumpyanskaya est l’épouse de Dmitry Pumpyansky, homme d’affaires russe influent et président de l’Union régionale des industriels et des entrepreneurs de Sverdlovsk (SOSPP). Son époux est coprésident de la commission de la politique industrielle et de la réglementation technique de la RSPP, aujourd’hui dénommée commission de la réglementation technique. Il est également ancien président du conseil d’administration de PJSC Pipe Metallurgic Company, ainsi qu’ancien président et membre du conseil d’administration du groupe Sinara. Les deux entreprises soutiennent les autorités de la Fédération de Russie et des entreprises d’État, notamment les chemins de fer russes, Gazprom et Rosneft, et tirent avantage d’une coopération avec celles-ci. En dépit de ses affirmations selon lesquelles elle “s’est retirée inconditionnellement et irrévocablement” de ses activités caritatives au sein de la Fondation caritative Sinara en janvier 2023, Galina Pumpyanskaya a continué de se présenter comme la présidente du conseil de direction de la Fondation bien au-delà de cette date, maintenant ainsi une exposition aux activités publiques et commerciales. Galina Pumpyanskaya est donc un membre de la famille proche de son époux, Dmitry Pumpyansky, dont elle tire avantage.
