Sergey Fedorovich Rudskoy

Colonel General Sergei Rudskoy is the Head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation since 2015. Among its responsibilities, the Main Operational Directorate oversees strategic and operational planning for the use of the Armed Forces, including operational control of troops in peacetime and wartime. Therefore, the Directorate directly contributes to and facilitates Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. In taking on and acting in this capacity, Colonel General Sergei Rudskoy is responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
