This list is maintained by BIS, includes includes individuals and entities that have been denied export privileges due to violations of export control laws. The denial of export privileges means these parties are prohibited from participating in transactions involving items subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), helping to enforce compliance with export control regulations.

The Consolidated Screening List (CSL) is a list of parties for which the United States Government maintains restrictions on certain exports, re-exports, or transfers of items.
Sanctions programs are created by governments and international organisations to impose measures on entities in response to specific events or situations.
They are bundled into data sources that are imported into the OpenSanctions database.
