He is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Council of the VTB Bank, a State-owned bank and associated with Maksim Reshetnikov, member of the Supervisory Council of VTB Bank. In his former capacity of Deputy Director of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, Grigorenko was responsible for setting up new local tax legislation for the territory of Crimea following its annexation in 2014. He is therefore responsible for actions and policies which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, or stability or security in Ukraine.
