The United Shipbuilding Corporation is a Russian state-owned shipbuilding conglomerate, which is the main provider of military warships to the Russian Navy. It owns multiple shipyards and design bureaus. The “Pyotr Morgunov” project 11711 large landing ship, built by the United Shipbuilding Corporation, took part in the illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The “Vasily Bykov” project 22160 patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet, designed by United Shipbuilding Corporation, also participated in the Russian aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation is responsible for supporting, materially or financially, actions, which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. Furthermore, “Almaz” design bureau, owned by the United Shipbuilding Corporation, developed the project 22800 corvettes, some of which were built at the shipyards located on the territory of the illegally annexed Crimea and Sevastopol, which contributed to the militarisation of the Crimean Peninsula.
