Propagandist and co-chairman of A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth party

Mr Prilepin is a Russian activist, journalist, writer and co-chairman of the "A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth" party. He expressed his public support to the Russian separatists in Crimea and Donbas. He sent aid to Donetsk and advised the separatist leaders. He participated in the Donbas conflict on the separatist side, serving as a deputy commander of one of the separatist battalions, and described his involvement in detail. Furthermore, he used his fame and reputation as a famous writer to spread anti-Ukrainian propaganda, and to promote a positive attitude to the annexation of Crimea and the actions of separatists in Donbas. Mr Prilepin depicted Ukrainian authorities as corrupt, blamed them for the escalation of conflict, called Kyiv a Russian city and stated that the ultimate Russian goal should be to capture Kyiv. He starred in the Russian documentary propagandist film "Crimea: The Way Home," which glorified the illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula by Russia. Therefore, he is responsible for actively supporting or implementing actions or policies which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, as well as stability and security in Ukraine.

M. Prilepin est un activiste russe, journaliste, écrivain et coprésident du parti "Une Russie juste – Patriotes – Pour la vérité". Il a exprimé un soutien public aux séparatistes russes en Crimée et dans le Donbass. Il a envoyé de l’aide à Donetsk et a conseillé les dirigeants séparatistes. Il a participé au conflit du Donbass du côté des séparatistes, servant comme commandant adjoint d’un des bataillons séparatistes, et a décrit sa participation dans le détail. Il a en outre utilisé sa renommée et sa réputation en tant qu’écrivain célèbre pour diffuser de la propagande anti-ukrainienne et pour promouvoir une attitude en faveur de l’annexion de la Crimée et des actions des séparatistes dans le Donbass. M. Prilepin a décrit les autorités ukrainiennes comme corrompues, les a tenues pour responsables de l’escalade du conflit, a appelé Kiev une ville russe et a déclaré que l’objectif ultime de la Russie devrait être de prendre Kiev. Il a joué un rôle dans le film documentaire de propagande russe "Crimée: le chemin de la maison", qui glorifie l’annexion illégale de la péninsule de Crimée par la Russie. Il est donc responsable de soutenir activement ou de mettre en œuvre des actions ou des politiques compromettant ou menaçant l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine, ainsi que la stabilité et la sécurité en Ukraine.
