Gives effect to the UN Security Council's Yemen sanctions regime, established by resolution 2140 (2014) and extended by resolution 2216 (2015), which targets persons who threaten the peace, security or stability of Yemen or obstruct its political transition. Designated persons are subject to an asset freeze and a ban on the supply of military goods and technology to them, and designated individuals are barred from entering or transiting the United Kingdom. The regime imposes no country-wide trade restrictions.
