A framework regime enabling the EU to designate persons and entities whose activities undermine the sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutional order or international personality of Bosnia and Herzegovina, seriously threaten its security situation, or undermine the Dayton/Paris General Framework Agreement for Peace. Designation under Council Decision 2011/173/CFSP would result in an asset freeze and, for individuals, a ban on entry into or transit through the EU. The EU-autonomous framework is renewed annually, most recently until 31 March 2027, but has never been used; no persons or entities have been listed, and no implementing EU regulation has been adopted.
