EU Restrictive measures in view of Türkiye's unauthorised drilling activities in the Eastern Mediterranean

Provides for restrictive measures against natural and legal persons responsible for or involved in unauthorised drilling for hydrocarbons in the Eastern Mediterranean, notably in the territorial sea or exclusive economic zone of Cyprus, under Council Decision (CFSP) 2019/1894 and Council Regulation (EU) 2019/1890. Designated persons are subject to an asset freeze and a prohibition on making funds or economic resources available to them, and natural persons to an entry ban. The framework remains in force, but the two Turkish Petroleum Corporation officials designated in 2020 have since been delisted and no persons are currently designated.
