EU Restrictive measures against supporters of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad

Targets those who support, facilitate or enable violent actions by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, under the dedicated framework of Decision (CFSP) 2024/385 and Regulation (EU) 2024/386 adopted in response to the attacks of 7 October 2023 against Israel. Since May 2026, the framework also covers members of the Political Bureau of Hamas who promote, defend or justify such violent actions. Designated persons and entities are subject to an asset freeze and a prohibition on making funds or economic resources available to them, and designated natural persons are barred from entering or transiting EU territory.
