Implements the UN sanctions regime on the Central African Republic established by UN Security Council Resolution 2127 (2013). Persons and entities designated by the UN Sanctions Committee for engaging in or supporting acts that undermine the peace, stability or security of the country are subject to an asset freeze, and natural persons to a travel ban. The regime also prohibits the supply of arms and related services to armed groups and associated individuals operating in the Central African Republic; following UN Security Council Resolution 2745 (2024), the arms embargo no longer applies to the country's government forces.
